TOWN & COUNTRY BANK OF MISSOURI NOTICE OF YOUR FINANCIAL PRIVACY RIGHTS
Town & Country Bank of Missouri respects the privacy expectations and rights of its customers regarding financial information and other related information which the Bank has or gathers in the normal course of business.  We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it.

 

What Information We Collect
We may collect "nonpublic personal information" about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; and
  • Information we receive from third parties such as consumer reporting agencies.
  • "Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.   For example, nonpublic personal information includes information regarding your account balances, payment history, and overdraft history.

 

What Information We Disclose

  • We are permitted by law to share information about our experiences or transactions with you with companies related to us by common control or ownership ("affiliates").
  • We are also permitted under law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to "nonaffiliated third parties" in certain circumstances
      • To assist us in servicing your loan, deposit account, or any other product that we are providing to you;
      • To government entities in response to subpoenas;
      • To credit reporting agencies.


We do not disclose any nonpublic information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

 

We follow Federal law in all instances except where State of Illinois law prevails.

 

Our Security Procedures
We also take steps to safeguard customer information.  Access to your personal and account information is restricted to employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, tax identification number, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We will also ask to see your driver's license and/or other identifying documents.
